Many of us move through our lives with personalities that do not reflect or resemble our true self. We standby and watch as limited parts of our selves take control. We may act helpless or despondent, picky or pushy. We may play the part of the victim or tyrant, worrier or nag. Whether our limited personality seems nice such as a people pleaser or harsh as a critic is not really the issue. Any one part or character that acts as if it is the captain of our ship can move us off course, block our inner joy and drain our life energy.

Life has a way of moving along without us if we are not careful and attentive.  How do we prevent ourselves from only half-living our lives?  In fact, how do we step off the treadmill in order to create new dreams and visions?  Sometimes we just have to force ourselves to stop!
